Plynkes beat me too the punch by about 2 years

. So to keep my end up I decided to take this post in a related, but slightly different direction.
The commissioner for the Buganda province, J.R.P.Postlethwaite, during the great war, was tasked with raising troops for the K.A.R. One source he found was the Acholi people. The tribesmen were apparently less than willing to enlist and the commissioner used fair means and foul to fill his quota.
The following pics
appear to show a recruitment drive among the Acholi. Sadly their is no definitive proof of this but the evidence,(what there is),is highly suggestive. The chaps in the pics following may well be some of the same who later turn up in Plynkes' excellent original post. If not, I still hope they are worth posting.
