Pro Gloria Mercator redux
« on: April 01, 2012, 07:08:31 PM »
Here are a few more shots of my LPL6 Round 4 entry from different angles.
Just in case anyone thought I really don't paint the backs  ;)

All sculpted by Paul Hicks, who I think really excelled himself with these. The Mercator figure was the last CRISIS giveaway (thanks to LAF member, Johan, for kindly sending me a couple). The remainder are from Stephan Huber's (Regulator) Pro Gloria range...

Lovely painting.  I love the sleeping guard. Is there a howling mob to shout down this new-fangled idea?  lol

Glorious. That depth and intensity of colour over any base coat, let alone a black one, is approaching alchemy :o I cant dream that vivid let alone paint it.
Just noticed the fella tormenting that piglet by eating its parents. Cruel but funny lol

As allways, you handle the large amount of really powerful colour choises on your miniatures really really well. I love the fact that you can use such strong colours and still get a very coherent look and without making it silly in any way.
