Fresh out of a competition where they got the "I Was Robbed Mate"-award, whatever that means ...

I'm a great fan of these early sculpts of more "earthy", natural types of giants; all in all they seem to be quite nice guys, a bit dumb, but gentle. Well, except for the right one.  

From left to right:
Yeti - DSA miniatures (Werner Klocke); Giant - Metal Magic (Josef Ochmann); Cloud Giant - Ral Partha (Tom Meier); Barbarian Giant - Grenadier (Mark Copplestone)

Together with a fifth companion I had planned to enter them as an "old lead"-entry in the current LPL, but then decided not to take part due to time restraints. Perhaps next time ...

The Big Guys look TERRIFIC...VERY NICELY painted & based. The Grenadier Barbarian Giant is one I've had the pleasure of painting several times..a VERY COOL mini.
