LAM Bruegelburg Captain
« on: April 08, 2012, 12:45:24 PM »
I've posted this to my Empire thread as well, so feel free to delete it here if this counts as prohibited crossposting, but I figured it couldn't hurt to have a LAM-specific thread in this section of the board as well.

Urged on to finish this by Blue's recent halberdiers, here is the captain with warhammer and his tale of woes. I'm quite relieved it is finished, not because I didn't like the sculpt, I think it's great, but because it seemed like it was an accident riddled experience. I lost count of the number of times this got dropped, chipped, splattered with paint from another project, dropped again and got the hand reglued at least 3 times. But I got it done and it looks good, so moving on!

And a quick comparison with Pro Gloria (left) and classic metal GW (right). The scale fits in just fine.

Wow!  He looks great!  Wonderful red WK.  he does fit very well with the other figures.

I think I'll use mine as an Indepedent character and use the guy with the great sword as my unit leader.

So... What's next?

I have no idea, I'm painting some more buildings atm, will see after that, though I have a backlog of WK minis to paint up as well... ;)

He came out quite nicely, accident prone though he may be.
