Got a few buildings painted. A little detailing here and there still required but the finish carpenters are still busy over at the Mill.

Two shops and a pass through to Bleeding Hart Yard.
(There's a technical term for such a passage but I can't recall it.)

Blacke Books. This one will eventually have an interior.

Bunburry's Coffee House

The side entrance, also known as Trelawney's gate.

Should have the Mill finished in the next few days.

Very nice Scrapwelder and really like how you painted the windows for the coffee house - sort of Edward Hopperish to my eye.

This is so awesome! The one thing keeping me at bay regarding this game will be the difficulty of doing a good table for Victorian London, and you have it covered! Wish I lived nearby you  ;)

All brilliant. So many LAFers with different takes yet super resulting Old London towns. The other thing is that I think that they would all work together on the same table - now that would be a site to behold.

Thanks again everyone. Especially for the encouragement on the window treatment. I wasn't sure about it. I diluted off white with a matte medium for the base and then did the same with yellow gold highlights and then just slathered it in sepia ink.

The next piece is done. Trubblat Mill. Thought to be where all the trouble started. I've had this model constructed for a while but finally got around to painting and basing it. Had to take it outside to take pictures.

More pictures on the site.

Next up: Streets and some more shops, I think.

Thanks,

Mike

That's an amazing building!  :o

The sign, such a simple element, really seals the deal.

Wonderful work!  :-*

As Aggro says that sign is great! That and the front door are the two outstanding details on a brilliant model! :o :o

How did you make them?

Very impressive - four-square Victorian solidity defined, then undermined by the dangling sign.
Back from the dead, almost.
