I always highlight black with a mix of black and dark blue. Looks the best IMHO.

Really nicely painted figures and horses.

Black is tricky and you've done them well.

I've also started painting black with some blue (and sometimes brown as well) but I think that just the right amount of grey also makes a huge difference.

I look forward to seeing some more images.
