The Strongpoint - an experiment in 28mm buildings
« on: 11 April 2012, 07:54:09 PM »
Guys

Here are some photos of my first attempt at making a 28mm building. It is the Strongpoint from the great and inspirational  Matakish. If you don't know the web site then check it out - it's full of wonderful stuff.

The instructions were easy to follow and the project took me through a steep learning curve. Yes, I made mistakes but I'll not make them again next time! Enjoy the photos and, as ever, constructive feedback always welcome.

Nice little strongpoint.
Like the use of wire on the roof.
Great looking sandbags, did you make them?

Guys

Thank you for the kind words.

The photo doesn't show it well but there is slight lean on the 'front' wall. I should have pinned the wall to the gable end of the building while the glue set. Though all was square when I left it the wall moved about 1mm.
