Necromunda Scavvies
« on: 21 April 2012, 11:42:21 AM »
Heya all,

Since I launched Necromunda related topic in the bazar section I thought it will be good idea to gather my gang in one place.
And because I hopefully got bit more hobby time I deeply hope to paint all remaining gangers so by the end of the year I can field huge horde of fully painted, wysiwyg rottenheads :D

So at the moment there are 6 guys photographed: middle ones painted in the passed weeks, others - few years back. I hope to add photos to this thread when I get more gangers done so prepare for demi-spamming and threadomancy ;D

I love the old scavvies models! In my opinion they have more character than the new ones.

Your treatment of them here is just fantastic. I really like the skin tones.

Cheers
Andy

They look great, the scavvy with a peg leg and autogun is one of my favourite models ever.

Totally agree here:
new minis are just awful...

One of my favs as well and THE most hated one by my opponent:
after 3 games of campaign he scored 5 wounding hits and all on long range and with BS2!!! lol lol lol

Great looking figures, I hope there's more on the way, my Scavvie gangs tend to get to about 20 members a few games in.

I love scavvies, they are my gang!

The older models are lovely, the new ones are nice alternatives, but will never replace my ever-loved gang.

I find it hard to consider repainting them, I love them that much, but projects like this one really push me over the edge!  :)

Glad to be helpful :D
And here's another one painted (gang nickname: Smoothskin) and his side-buddies for the contrast.

Bazillion more to go... o_o

Thanks!

@Scurv: totally agree - new scavvies just suck :?
As for the scaly with spear gun I should get one from one of LAFers so sooner or later my gang will get a piece of artillery support 8)
