VSF game at Salute
« on: April 22, 2012, 05:45:09 PM »
We ran a big VSF game using GASLIGHT rules at Salute (it would have been bigger, but the canal terrain took some damage before the show). We generated a lot of interest in the armies and vehicles in play, as well as in the rules.

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to take any photos, but here's one thet Tomsche took:

You DO NOT want to be an infantryman in that battle...you'd get squished under all those metal beasties!

 lol

The Venetians had the audacity to lay claim to the canals of Mars, which were already the property of her Majesty Queen Victoria,(Gaud Bless 'Er) Empress of India, Venus and Mars and her ally Japan. A stand off occured when unfortunately no diplomatic solution could be reached.

Venice decided to seek military aid from the Papacy and their close friend France. Prussia made the sensible decision to side with the British/Japanese alliance. (We are uncertain at this point what the Americans intend to do.)

Our correspondent on Mars Mr Archibald Harris-Hampton of the Illustrated London News Overseas Reporting team has confirmed he was present at the battle and that France definitely fired the first shot.....   ;)
