I broke down and pledged.  Between Zombicide and this my figures owned count is gonna rise, and when the large boxes get delivered so will my wife's eyebrows.   lol

This looks like a really interesting game, but I have Car Wars in 2 scales, Dark Future, Battletech and now Zombicide to paint as well as a squad of Movie Marines for 40k.  I'll buy this and never get to it.  And I'll never play until I get the figs painted.

I've stopped worrying about projects I'll never get to.

I just broke down and call myself a collector.

If I never get to it, I still can have it, cuz I'm a collector.

In addition to the oodles of models I have (metal)  I still have to paint the following boxed games:

Space Hulk
Last Night ON Earth
The Adventurers
Gears Of War
Incursion

now
Zombicide and Sedition Wars.

And I'm convinced this is STILL a cheaper hobby than many of my co-workers have.

Heh, it took me some 20 years to paint the last genestealers of my Space Hulk box  ::)

Before I moved out of the states I sold, literally 8 1/2k worth of unpainted figures I had collected over 15 years.  Then I sold the painted ones...  I just don't want to get there again, and I'm already on the path with what I've stacked up.

Yep, it's a hobby addiction!

But I totally agree, this hobby is FAR cheaper than many of the ones my mates have. :)

I'm dying to get my hands on Zombicide.  I figure it'll be playable by November.  That gives me the summer to work on Car Wars and Dark Future.

I definitely had a moment or two...well maybe more....that i seriously was considering getting a pledge down. A substantial one i mean. The whole idea for 'battle for Alabaster' is not really new but i feel that some of the miniatures from the Strain faction are truely magnificent.
But finally i decided not to go ahead and just leave it. From the other reply on this topic i now gather that i am not the only but probably the only one on this planet with only two projects going on at the same time.
Multi tasking was never really my thing.

Sweet!

Those additional minis, like this one for Barker, will they also be plastic?

The next couple of stretch goals aren't quite as exciting, (campaign and dice) but I think we've been spoiled.... ;D

Yep, all plastic. The only one that isn't is the limited edition Kara that comes with 'Biohazard' and above.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Damn..... I am thinking that they might have to start tossing in some of the the FireBrands as an incentive now.
Like maybe one of the T.H.I. Mattocks or Mauls. maybe make them emun to infection because of they are supposed to be in heavy pressure and corrosive environments.

True, but it's the same stretch goal path they went for with Zombicide, so hopefully we'll see more minis @ $200 K.
