Battletech : good 6mm proxies for foot soldiers and tanks ?

I'm wondering if it exists some good (and cheaper) proxies for Battletech, especially for human-sized soldiers, tanks, aircrafts, etc... ?

At this scale, you can probably just use modern infantry by GHQ etc.

Ground Zero Games have lots of futuristic vehicles in their Dirtside range.

There's a LOT of campanies that make 6mm sci-fi lines, it's a very popular scale. The biggest problem is many of these 6mm companies are based in the UK and you need to watch the shipping costs to the USA.

As Cherno said, GZG is one of the more popular companies and with good reason, they make great stuff.

Lots of good stuff out there, and most of it is relatively cheap in this scale.
