a bunch of mostly power armoured figures, and a couple of small robot / drones. I'll post pics once I get them back from the casters.

And here's the leg bits with most of the sanding done:

There's a couple of arm pieces in there too - they rolled into shot while I was taking the pic!

I'm really curious (and impressed) and would like to ask, which kind of sand paper/sanding machine do you use?

Sorry for the delayed reply, I've only just noticed this - I just use ordinary sandpaper, starting with a very rough 60 grade, then a 280, a 600 and finally a 1200 wet-and-dry sheet.

Anyway, I just got the first castings back from the mouldmaker, and quickly glued one together:

Painting next, which is a bit daunting, as it's been 4 years since I last painted a mini!  :o

Nice one. Painting shouldn't be too hard. with such lovely detail that model will probably paint itself.

It's the Awesomo-3000!! :o

Very, very cool. And especially so, since we got to see the entire creation process. It really looks awesome, and I would not be loathe to get me one or two... 8)

Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Nowhere... yet! Still sorting out productions moulds etc. But I'll get round to it!

Painted pics:

The colour's darker than that in real life, but I guess I used too much light for the photos...

That is just great.  From concept to completion...flawless execution.  Like the freehand graphics as well.

So, the robot is awesome, but I'm wondering where the powered armor infantry you mentioned are...

I am speachless, too! Quite remarkable, that "little" robot of Yours!

Very impressive ... I thought I could do it, too, until I came to the "detailing with greenstuff"-part  o_o

Pretty awesome!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!

I've got most of the master casts done, but have another 10 to be moulded before I'm ready to paint them all. Then it'll probably take me ages, as there's about 30 of them!

We don't need to see them painted, we just want to see them, hehehe. We are a very inquisitive lot  :D
