Hey all! first off, I'd like to say that if I'm breaking any rules by making a thread pointing out a cool new thing as my first act as a member of this forum, I am very sorry, and I'll just have to do it later, haha. so here's the thing: there's this awesome new project, a kind of post apoc ww1 in space thing, the style is freaking awesome, and the artwork and WIP models are really top of the line, they remind me of warzone, which, of course, is a good thing. Best part is, 28mm versions of the soon to be released 15mm models (which are some of the few I've seen good enough to be mistook for 28mm, and the only ones in their style available in the scale) will be produced if the company is able to succeed enouph to follow its vision. as said in the thread title, its called Trench 2114 http://www.trench2114.com/ and its awesome, and it needs some pioneering customers/forum meamber/general fans to keep it going.

Pointing out cool things is not breaking a rule, it is rather mandatory to do so

No need to apologize, as you're new to the forum I think nobody'll fuzz about it too much...

Are you involved in the Trench 2114 project or did you just dug it out?
It seems there'll be 28mm and 15mm miniatures involved...

I'll watch this with interest

I'm not part of the project, I'm just a very early customer/fan that likes the style of the minitures enouph to want to spread the word. like I said, this stuff if rare in 28mm and non-existant in 15mm (which is what I play) so it would be nice to see it succeed. I mean, look at those scultps!

Good start. Plenty of information and design outlines, good quality artwork and the 15mm figures look great. Nice to see the rules and force lists already up as well.

Good luck with the Kickstarter/Indigogo launch.

You're right, but the main reason that we discourage cross-posting is that it splits up any discussion, as people post in one thread, but not the other, leaving others confused when referring to said post, etc. That's why I locked the topic in the Weird Wars section, but don't worry too much, just avoid it in the future.

robh: I know right

but the indegogo campaign failed miserably, and right now the further development of the trench 2114 minitures line depends mostly on the sale of the 15mm panzer troops, and soon after the heer infantry.

Hauptgefrieter: although it was originally planned to be a 28mm game with mirror minitures for 15mm scale bigger battles in the same universe, due to circumstances I dont know much about, its happened/is happening backwards, with 15mm panzer troops already available for preorder and 15mm heer infantry available for shipping some time in august.

I've been in contact with John, the designer for awhile. He's in Yuma while I'm in Phoenix. I'm hoping he posts more info or decides to play-test soon; I'd really like to see how it plays.
