54mm Post Apocalyptic gladiators
« on: June 24, 2012, 05:27:30 AM »
I've been working on this project for a while, and I've finally come to a stopping point for the time being, so I figured I share them folks other than my blog followers (the best bunch'o'blog members, in my opinion). I use these figures to play Two Hour Wargame's Red Sand Black Moon (and soon Red Sand Brown Sky.)

These are all conversions based on generic blanks from Bronze Age Miniatures (except the last figure which is from a D&D prepainted figure), using green stuff, brass rod, wire and plasticard (There are more than this; these are just a few of my favorites):

This stuff is great! How did you come up with the idea for it?

I made my original figures to play Qwik. Later, I used those figures as alternatives to my Roman gladiators for playing Red Sand Blue Sky. I liked their look, so I decided to make some specifically for post-apoc fighting in the arena.

Yep- all the games I've mentioned here (Red Sand Blue Sky, Red Sand Black Moon (Brown Sky is the free Post-Apoc supplement coming out soon), and Qwik are by Two Hour Wargames.

Sweet, is Brown sky going to be a stand alone, or do I need the other two in order to get the proper feel for the game?

You'll need Red Sand Black Moon to play the Brown Sky supplement
