First Sky Pirate completed...
« on: July 06, 2012, 11:48:47 PM »
... she's a Warmachine Victoria Haley mini that I got a couple of weeks ago from snow_base_Gaz that I will be using, at the moment at least, as Anna Baptiste, a captivating but deadly French assassinatrix and sky-pirate. She's a little cross-eyed, but that's not exactly noticeable on the mini (not to my tired old eyes anyway).

Of course, I have to build some dirigibles, and get some of her partners in crime (Anna's silent but deadly apprentice, Marie-Celeste, and her dashing but deadly boss, Captain Van Dango, as well as some general scurrilous - but deadly - sky pirate henchdudes) as well as some prey both commercial and political, but it's a start...

You'd all forgotten I came here in 2009 to build aeronefs and airships, hadn't you? Still working on it!

Quite nice! Are you going to do something with the base? Maybe it looks a little flat.

Yeah, the base was a quick job to get her on the table on Thursday night in my 40k game; I'll be tarting it up a bit with sand and rocks sometime soon. But no more painting on the figure! I can't take the strain of trying to paint her eyes any more.
