« on: 15 July 2012, 03:57:27 PM »
New Brigade Games Pacific War releases debuting in the store today and at Historicon this upcoming week.
Sculpted by the incredibly talented Paul Hicks.

BG-PCJ020  Japanese "battle worn/ragged" troops IV (4)
BG-PCM015  U.S. Marine Specialists (4)

FYI - Due to convention cutoff and us packing the trailer for Historicon, these will not ship until after we return from Historicon.

What are the weapons that these Marines have?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Hi Lon, thank you for sharing this news on the LAF. For the gamers and collectors of the Japanese and USMC this small release will enhance their collections.

The USMC Raiders can now be achieved with these weapons that were unique to them in the early campaigns of the South-West Pacific.

For anyone interested in raising a Raider unit please look at the Osprey Battle Orders "US Special Warfare Units in the Pacific Theater 1941-45" which will provide a breakdown of weapon systems used by the raider platoons.

The Japanese look excellent and will look very nice alongside the other codes currently available.

Marine Raiders –
One Raider advancing with Johnson LMG (NCO)
One Raider advancing with Johnson Rifles
Two Raiders poses holding Rieslings Model 50 SMGs with wooden/wire(folding) stock

Japanese:

Officer with headband on helmet brandishing native sword wearing boots advancing/charging,
Warrant Officer with headband on helmet holding smg advancing/charging,
Riflemen with headband on helmet charging forward with rifle and good luck flag attached.
Soldier charging forward with headband on bare head carrying bamboo pole with bayonet attached.

Incredible work from the talented Mr Paul Hicks, thanks Paul.

Paul has designed some great miniatures from the specs provided to Bruce Meyer and my thanks to you all for making this release possible.

Thank you,

Helen
