Battle of First Manassas: July 21

Played a game of Fire and Fury last Saturday. I thought the rules were pretty bad. You never get the feeling that you're using big armies. everything is resolved with 1 d10. No emphasis on different types of weapons. It's not likely I'll be playing a game  with that system again. Although I might give regimental Fire and Fury a go.

In any case. The terrain is from the club I played at: http://www.lagrandearmee.nl/index.html (sorry, only Dutch) Figures from a variety of players. There are all kinds of figure ranges, from Dixon to Perry miniatures (mine are all Perry figs)

It seemed that the Yankees were actually going to win this time, but a combination of poor rolls on the Union side and onrushing Confederates from Henry House Hill helped turn the tide of battle in the South's favor (as it should   ) Hope you like the pictures!!
