I fully intend to get the Gripping Beast Anzacs and Turks.  I wonder how they will go side by side the Brigade figures?  Did Soapy sculpt the Battle Honors Australian Light Horse figures?

The BH Light Horse were sculpted by Paul Hicks who you will all know from BAM.

I did the Turks, Serbs, Arab revolt, Some of the French, Russians, Brits and Germans on the western front. Paul did everything else.

Those were the days...

Yep six years ago.

My favorites out the lot were the Highlanders that we did.

I'm a big fan of the BH Highlanders.  The piper from that set is just about the only piper miniature I've ever seen that looks like he is actually playing a real set of bagpipes.  Most of the pipers offered by other manufacturers simply look like they are hugging a beach ball, but that lad looks the real deal.

Thanks for putting the extra effort into that model.

Will (who has been a piper since the age of 10)
