Spaniards for the 1770s?
« on: 01 August 2012, 09:25:18 AM »
Anyone do a range of Spaniards suitable for the AWI era? Preferably Perry compatible as I would be using Perry AWI figures as their Luso-Brazilian opponents.

As per:
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

I had the same idea sometime ago. You'll probably have to use/convert some AWI French or use these less appealing soldados: http://historifigs.com/American_Revolution.htm#28mm Figures

It's an outrage if there aren't. How is one to do the largest battle of the AWI (and one the Brits managed to not mess up) without them?

Hopefully, the Perry twins will rectify this remarkable absence in the fullness of time.  I can't say I'm inspired to use the former LWR.

Back to plan B. French vs Portuguese, sixty years beforehand.
