Ta, folks.

Jesus, I love your minis!  :-*

That reminds me, I need to place an order with you...  8)

That is surely the best way of expressing your love! :D

BTW, while the gas mask heads are based on lady heads, they work nicely on more manly figures too... ;)

Here's one, right off the bat: Angel Giraldez. What that man does with a brush can only be described as magic...  8)

I agree, that's sad, somehow.. :P

Re: Statuesque Miniatures Resistance Fighters- Rosa of the Resistance Released
« Reply #20 on: 04 December 2012, 10:12:36 PM »
Statuesque Miniatures is pleased to announce the release of Lila of the Resistance, sniper and weapons specialist!

Measuring approximately 32mm unposed, Lila joins our growing Resistance Fighter range, all featuring interchangeable heads for more variety. Lila can be armed with either a sniper rifle or an S.O.E.-supplied Experimental Energy Cannon.

Lila of the Resistance is priced at £4.75. Purchase two Lila for £4.50 each ; three or more for £4.25 each.

Also starting now, Statuesque Miniatures is running a Sale with 10% OFF all figures, excluding accessories. Use the code LILA2012 to get your discount! This discount is in addition to the quantity discounts we offer across our range. The sale runs until 16th December 2012.

@Sangennaru: I'd love to get more paint jobs done for the shop but alas, it's rather expensive. Anyway, in the mean time, the Platoon Britannica forum are running a painting comp for Statuesque until 1st February, so I'm sure there will be some nice eye candy from that! :)

Regards,

Andrew Rae

She looks great!

BTW, are you still sculpting these in putty, or are they done digitally (like the Raging Heroes' stuff)?

Thanks guys!

Yup, everything from the Resistance Fighter pack onwards has been done digitally. Thankfully I've had a lot of comments that they're still recognisably my work. Personally, I'm really enjoying the freedom of not working on tiny little details everyday!

I thought as much, and I would also agree that it retains your "style"! Good job sir! ;)

I love Rosa and Lila, but 32mm always scares me. Any chance of seeing some comparison shots with the usual other lines?

Thanks.

Here ya go :) :

Infinity, Statuesque, Mantic, Statuesque, GW

And a couple of links to some comparison pics:

I'll try and get some of Lila and Rosa though all my figures are still packed away after moving this summer.

I alway say they're not as tall as you think, though I don't deny they are supposed to be tall women!

They look awesomely realistic next to the infinity/ manticore/ GW minis. I am sorely tempted.
"The sword sung on the barren heath,
The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."
