Is it me or do they seem really expensive?

Yes,they`re expensive but the Possessed and Beastman are Hard Fighters with Toughness 4 and 2 Lifepoints each Fighter.Used every time I start a Possessed Warband,include at least The Leader,2 Possessed and 1-2 Beastmen,sure its possible to loose the first games but when the casualities are low the Warband will be Bad in Future.

Yes, as luidi says, they are expensive, but the Possessed terrorise the ruined streets of Mordheim like none other!

They indeed are very, very expensive but then again they do a lot of damage... I always start with 2... I love kitting one out with 2 greatclaws...

Do they suffer the no weapon damage modifier when "unarmed"?

It's actually 240 because the cost of a second mutation is doubled and no, they don't suffer penalties for being unarmed.

I love playing with just a few very hard guys... I never win mind you but still thats how I roll (ones usually )

Yeah, I prefer the thought of a few tough guys, a pity that that doesn't usually work out.

What base size are they, standard or large?

There are no hard & fast rules, but I'd go with the 25mm square ones that the actual Possessed models were delivered and 20mm squares for the human types in the warband if I were you.

Yeah, but I thought if a possessed or mutant had that they would lose an attacking arm so lose an attack....
