That's quite a lot of finished stuff for not being productive...a two day Mushroom is my idea of a paucity of productivity. Everything, particularly the House, is STRIKINGLY WELL DONE! I love the purple flowers,

Thanks very much, It's just getting closer and closer to March of Next year when the Reaper Bones Kickstarter ships and I've set myself the task of making a dent in the Lead mountain before I get buried under a pile of Bones :) At the moment I'm not making as much progress as I'd like and part of my current challenge is that I'm not allowing myself to purchase any new mini's which is really starting to hurt.

I can't really take credit for the flowers I bought them at a convention, you can get them from Antenocitis workshop though:

The painted towel is a great idea. How does the paint/flocking hold up on it?

It's only paint on the towel no flock, and so far it's holding up pretty well there doesn't seem to be any 'flaking'

Great to see to see these  old miniatures so well painted. Any ideas where to get a black towel 6' x 4' or bigger (suppose I could sew 2 together)?

Thanks very much :)

You should be able to buy whatever size you want from a fabric shop/seamstresses you know the kind of shops that have the huge rolls of material?

Wow, that house is excellent! Lovely figs and terrain you've got there too, the slayer is a particularly nice old model.

Finished this fella last week, early citadel pre-slotta pirate type dude and my first attempt at dark skin:

Also started and finished a scratch built Nurgle type beast, he's mostly milliput and green stuff apart from some Rat Ogre Arms and a couple of GW heads:

I'm really happy with how he turned out as he's my first major scratch build, and my first attempt at large style display base.
If you're thinking of doing any big basses I'd highly recommend checking out the tutorials on the Massive Voodoo blog as they were a fantastic inspiration:

EXCELLENT STUFF! Both the Pirate & The Beasty are BEAUTIFULLY painted & based; The Beasty's base & The Beasty Itself are EXCEPTIONALLY WELL DONE. You created a WONDERFULLY detailed piece with Itself...I love the little face peering out from the mouth. GREAT WORK!

Cheers thanks very much, I can't really take credit for the face in the mouth it came from a GW plastic kit.

Thanks again

Love the beast, it's rancid. The paint scheme looks quite John Blanchy to me, nice job. Pirate is pretty sweet too, the skin turned out well.

Long time no update on the Fantasy side of things as I've been on a little bit of a Sci-fi Kick recently but I did manage to finish off a couple of fantasy mini's over the Christmas period.

Let me know what you think
