Frankenstein Boxed Set
« on: February 25, 2008, 03:39:16 PM »
I did get a chance to spend a few hours over the weekend on my last blue moon boxed set...I found the villagers to be a great deal of fun to paint and experimented with different browns and greys for the cloth areas...

I did not get a chance to complete the lap equipment that comes with it, so hopefully tonight or later in the week.

Cold Wars is coming up in a few weeks so I plan on picking up the mummy and werewolf box at least!

Until then I have a few old glory membership cowboys I can work on! Looking forward the cigar store indian!

Wow, very nice models and a paint job which does them justice. The dead (or is it?) flesh is grand. For some reason the policeman is my favourite  8)  8)  8)

Very nice.

I think if they used these photo's instead of the ones they have they would sell far more. You have shown that they are not bad sculpts at all

Terribly awesome, I say! Particularly like the "Monsters", but that Konstabler on the right of the top row is swell as well.

Nicely done, Todd!

Incidentally we're getting together on Wednesday. Shoot me a PM if you've missed the e-mails.

How long did it take you to clean all the flash and mould lines off them?

as for that flash-there was some here and there! found myself cutting off a great deal that seemed to remain hidden until I started highlighting! haha

Great paint jobs TB! Personally I do not care for the Blue moon figures. But with a nice paint job like yours it certainly shows them in a different light.

By the way Todd, maybe I will get a chance to see you at Cold Wars. I'll be running two Forsaken games that weekend.

Very pretty.  Did I get that right, you painted those in "a few hours"?  I wish I had that kind of speed with my painting.
