Only just seen this and am humbled before your collection of Mordheim awesomeness.  Used to have a lot of fun with that game and miss it a lot: seeing stuff like this gets me incredibly excited, so thank you!

Game one done, report to follow.

But I found the lack of "needed tables" sheet slightly ennoying, is there one? You know with all the uqseful inof on?

I had the one from the GW site but it prints in squares and stars....

Thanks

Chance Encounter, Dwarves vs Reikland

Dwarves set up first, blocking the other buildings with the 14" requirement so the Mercs are forced to hide.

Empire go first.

Round 1

Karl-Heniz is exposed and The Green Dragon Blows him to pieces witha Critical blast!!!

Uli and Crutch open up on Braugen and stun him

Round 2

Albrecht fires at Frimbar scores a crit and takes him down, but not out.

Max fires wide of Morkland

Aldred charges Uli and Crutch but scores two misses

Klaus storms Dwillack exchanging blows but that armour pays off for the Old Dwarf

Dwarves

The Green Dragon Jumps down to line up for the next turn

Morkland charges Aldred

Grotti opens up on Max, stunning him

In a turn of combat only Dwillack manages to connect with Klaus Stunning him

Round 3

Bengt charges Uli and Crutch

All three archers take a pop at Dwillack three Armour saves (wow 75 gcs well spent)

Aldred takes out Morkland (those Troll Slayers go down EASY!!!)

Others exchange blows

Dwarves

Dwillack caves Klaus skull in (leading to those horrible scars and twisted face)

Uli and Crutch toast the Elf and even use his Fay magic save as a side dish, "The Quarterback is Toast!!!!)

Grundig knocks Aldred DOWN!!!

Round 4

Braugen charges in on Frimbar and takes him out (another Troll Slayer gone!)

Two archers at Dwillack one hit and one crit, but three armour saves!!!!!

Dwillack exchanges blows with Aldred

Uli and Crutch flame Flynn (who later dies of his burns)

The Green Dragon Charges Braugen with his dagger scoring a crit and taking him OUT!!!

Grotti takes a pop at Max

Round Five

Reiklanders decide to leave the field, having oo many men down. Looking back this was perhaps a touch hasty but I didn't want to lose any more heroes!

Post game the Dwarves hold on to a shard and find four more. Score a double three and find a sword, which goes to The Dragon!

Exp leads to the Dragon gaining a new skill and I chose Hunter so he can fie every turn, lovely!

Morkland survives against the odds (+1 exp), Frimbar is not so lucky and loses an eye!

I spent the cash on o new Thunder, Sturm Firebeard, and get the two of them maces; with 15 going to Uli and Crutch (opps Krutch) for new fuel.

Aldred's Wanderers post game lose Josef to his burns, while Klaus comes back ugly from his scars and now causes fear!

Rolling a massive 22 and the shard they held onto they came out quids in, perhaps better off than the Dwarves, and gain the services of a Warlock returning a favour! Sweet!

Braugen had 2 exps so gained +1 WS

I brought in a new Marksman and paid Albrecht, keeping a few pennies too.

Spikeheaders vs The Black Cave Tribe

The four buildings were marked out and the Pit Fighters set up first hoping to take advantage of their amazing skill!

Round 1

Taking up positions

THE THIN GREEN LINE

Round 2

Bogrot looses a shot that falls short of Khardang and Red fires wide of Raz Bol

Round 3

Raz Bol dive charges (making his I roll which I didn't know he needed to do, lucky him!!!) and takes Goblog out!

Grazgog Zzaps Khardang, stunning him, but Bogrot shoots wide again!

And now beleive it or not I can't read my scrawl! So it's just the pics!

The orcs tried hard but the Pit Fighter skill really made the Pit Figthers into killing machines! And the orc handgun jammed, so with the pistol and bo out of action they didn't have a chance. In the end Tirzog (boss), Grazgog (Shaman), Grugzki (Hired Pit Fighter) and Goglog were all out off action! With no Pit Fighters falling!

In round 6 the Orcs legged it!

End phase

Tirzog had a full recovery, Grazgog came out harded and immue to fear everyone else was ok.

Grazgog also had enough exp and got a T raise, he changed so much I changed the model (finding my Shaman model  )

All the money went on paying the Pit Fighter!

The  Spikeheaders did a little better. No exp ups but Khardang bought a Dwarf Axe! They also took a new member a Pursuer witha Trident and Buckler, as you see the mini has a Bastard Sword and Left Handed Dagger. I have decoded that I will use the trident stats for Bastard Sword adding that if used in both hands it loses strike first but gaind str +1, in one hand can only be used with shield or buckler (expect to see more Bastard Swords soon). The pursuer is Branaque-De-Igulk (AKA B-D-I).

Next time more AARs! News Warbands a way off...

EXCELLENT BATTLE REPORT! There was enough text for moi to get a clear idea of the flow of battle & not so much as to overwhelm my first-cup-of-coffee mind. PLUS the photos are GORGEOUS/INSPIRING...VERY WELL DONE!

Played two more games and it has really scratched an itch I had, even solo. The campaign mode really adds something special, by far the best part of the game!

Damn straight, Mordheim's campaign system makes the game what it is, if I had enthusiastic & creative people to play with i'd never stop playing it!

Uli and Krutch Flame at Shaman but fails

Dwillack charges Lutknob and KDs him

Round 3

Gashgog exchanges blows with Uli and Crutch

Tirzog and lacky make a break for it!

Dwillack takes out an unlucky Orc

Uli and Krutch gain a str, Grotti a bs, Dwillack learns mighty blow and Morkland takes Strongdwarf so he can hit when he charges before being taken out! The others add some stats and some new equipmennt.

The Dwarves took on the services of the Thunderer Oxy'Moron

Reikland Vs Pit Fighters in Hidden Treasure

Round 1

Buildings searched, Reiklands roll 5 + 6 and PFs 6 + 4 and 5 + 6. Close but no cigar!

Round 2

Another 6 + 5 for the Mercs!

Only one building remains, who can get there?

Round 3

Braugen charges the ogre, one wound but is then taken out!

3 archers at Pas-Bol combined attack knock him down

K-H charges the Crabb and opens up with 2 pistols. BLAMO!

The hired sword Warlock showers 7 Silver Arrows down on DBI, 2 hits!

Raz-Bol charges the Elf, taking him out!

Mutant Troll Slayer Slams into K-H

Drim and Drone close on Bengt

Round 4

Klaus engages Pas-Bol

K-H floors the Troll Slayer

As Pas-Bol is KD the PF fail thier rout tes!

The game proved the weakness of the lack of missle weapon for the PFs.

Post game, lots of EXP increases. In particular Pas-Bol gains a str, the Troll Slayer takes mighty blow and Drum and Drone Comba Master to reflect the advantage of 2 heads! Crabb becomes a weopon Master and gets a Trident.

Reiklandwise some stat increases and Klaus takes strongman and Bengt sprint, which is an amazing skill.

Pit fighters add a new Purserer, Hiisse, with a snake arm that spits javelins and acts a a next.

Possessed vs Brotherhood of the Yellow Sign

Wyrdstone hunt, Possessed decide to set up first and hope thier speed (Possessed with Cloven feet and Chaos Outrider) will win the day.

Round 1

Moving on the treasure!

Round 2

Bonehead charges the Warhound and destroys it!

Knud looses a bolt at the Brothers...

Others advance, Hornhead grabs the first Wyrdstone and Moonhead uses Wings of Darkness to reach the second!

2 Brothers charge Bonehead, one hits, but he splits his attacks and takes one out

The other 2 charge Knud, standoff.

Grimm hits the beastman for 1

Lucas joins conbat

Crowman fies wide of Moonhead!

Round 3

Fighting continues and Bonehead takes out another Brother (damn the possessed are worth 90 and he only got Hooves)

Beastman charges Liam but missess only to be hit twice and decked!

Round 3

Fightiing continues

Crowman (using Dagger of the Yellow God) and Liam charge Bonehead and combine to take him out.

Lucas takes out the beastman

With Knud taking out the last Brother the Brothers fail their rout test and flee...

End of game:

Skills are stat increases for both sides.

The Brothers tool up with pistols and armour. And Crowman learnt Wings of Darkness.
Moonhead's Crew

Hornhead took a risk on the Gifts table and was lucky with Chaos Armour (perhaps a reward for gathering the Wyrdstone), so he needed a figure change and they took on a new Mutant, Green Snapper, with Sword, Shield, Light Armour and Scorpion Tail (Poisonous Bite).

Hei Adam,

very nice terrain and a lot of pretty minis, great collection.
These "Anti-Witchhunter" would be pretty nice minis for a "Kult of Caine", game-wise similar to the witchhunters.

Keep'em coming
