Very nice Neil.  Your buildings just keep getting better   8)
What did you use for the decorative brickwork at the roofline?  It it wooden beading?  It looks very effective.   :)

Thanks again chaps.  :)

Paul, they are from Fenris and come in very handy indeed. Of course you'd have them scored out of the blue stuff in minutes  ;)

That's lovely. Can I have my wake in that place when I die?

The Shard Arms, it must be the place where the expression 'Liquid Courage' was coined.

Thanks chaps.

Hammers, hang around till closing time and there'll probably be a fight in the public bar.

Mason, thanks for the heads up with the water trough, I think I'll add that. I'm using a bit of artistic licence for rear yard but hopefully I'll do it proud. If you look on Google Streetview where the pub used to be there's a block of flats but interestingly they've got the same footprint as the pub.

Blimey! I remember that pub, I think the Irish footballer Eamon Dunphy once owned it.

It was a bit of a shit hole, unlike your model which is looking superb  8)

Alright I got this one!

People! Stop cluttering the man in flatter!!!

He's obviously won the lottery and is employing the people that would normally be lining up for work but no taxes to build his little Victorian dream haven.

I mean, really, should talent just have suddenly plummeted in his lap over night?

HA! Bastard!

Yes I really am just being jealous of his marvellous work

Hi all, a quick update. I've been busy with a new job and much welcomed overtime but I've finally had a chance to return to the build. It's slow progress as it's my most detailed build yet along with a bit of a learning curve trying new techniques. I'm hoping to have it finished in the next few weeks.

There's only one pic of progress but it gives you an idea of what I'm trying to achieve. The first pic is from my original post, I've been working on the section in the top left hand corner which will be the rear of the pub :

Here's how it looks now, a bit more weathering needed before I sign it off (sorry the pic is so big but Photobucket is a bloody nightmare these days):

More updates soon.

It looks bloody gorgeous so far.

And, as Bugsda has mentioned, so much better, and cleaner, than the original!
You had better get weathering!
 ;)
