5te Schlesische Landwehr Kavallerie (Calpe | 28mm)

Finished the latest unit for my current Napoleonics project, the 5th Silesian Landwehr cavalry. Happy that this is the last Silesian unit for it... I was getting sick of all the yellow! Minis are Calpe with the exception of the casualty being jumped over:

Please excuse the slightly glossy look. I use a varnish that dries best with UV light and the weather was just too poor for that the past few days, but they will turn a falt finish in a couple of weeks.

Really well painted.

I particularly like the way that you've done the lance-pennants.

Are they metal?

Also noticed that the pennants are different colours. Is this because each sqadron would have their own colour?

Must get my Calpe Uhlans and Landwehr cavalry painted as well but want to do some more limber-teams next which will be Prussian (Calpe of course) but I am going to use Front Rank British limbers and guns for a change.
