Actually, that is not a variant design or such, but the standard planned procedure for crossing waterways with the Maus... as awkward as the Maus design concept was in itself, at least they were sensible enough to expect NOT finding bridges capable of shouldering the Maus´ 180 tons.

Thus, river crossing was to be done by using an electric motor powered by cable link from another Maus which waited on the riverbank, then would cross itself. The air tunnel would be used to supply air to the crew (although I find the use of the term "schnorkel" suspect in this case).

Hi Guys,

Thankyou for those interesting links. As a matter of interest and If you haven't been following the other thread reference suggestions to Jeff of JTFM Enterprises on any vehicle from WW1 (including Pulp and Interwar) to Korean War then please join the yahoo group and state what vehicles you would like to see produced.

The top 10 vehicles will then be designed.

Link to Yahoo Group:
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Tiger_I/?yguid=186196309

Its your chance to maybe see one of your choices actually designed.

As an example; I'd like to see vehicles like the Ford GPA, ¼-ton, 4x4, Amphibian.

And this vehicle (as I lift the paw of Gus off the keyboard as I type this message)

Of course thats not to mention the:

and:

Should I change the heading? So as not to confuse people with 2 threads with the same name. :?:

Jeff from JTFM Enterprises here. Just wanted to say hello and see if any of you have further suggestions for Helen's posting about unusual vehicles you might like to see built.

Cheers,

Jeff
