Now, with a probable 5 year pay freeze, retirement in 2016 range, no promotions in my career field except for the newbie "techno" "Jabber is a research tool"  kids, and reducing large/"small scale" figure ranges such as 25+ mm... not so much.  No sales from this individual even remotely likely.

I work in the Public sector in the UK, similar problems, no jobs around and retirement looming in August 2015, hence my lead shed for the days when I will have time but no money.......

joroas - Have patience. The Perry ad in Wargames Illustrated 301 (which I got an advance copy of yesterday) states that the Confederates are to be the next plastic kit coming out  ;)

What was that quote from Burns, "The best laid plans of mice and men aft gang alee" or some such thing?  I understnad that better now than in my youth 130 or so years ago.

Any guesses as to what the next series of plastics will contain at Perry's?

They have already suggested that they will make ACW Federals and AWI Continentals and rebel militia. The Prussian reservists seem to be MIA.

I would venture to guess - Napoleonic Hungarian Line Inf; Napoleonic British line inf march attack; British colonial Sudan campaign.

Of course ACW union with options for Hardee hats and Frock coats in addition to the usual sack coats. I think the most needed would be AWI Continentals in particular ragged ones.

Difficult to see how Perry could do both sack coats and frock coats in 1 set. Hopefully, lots of variants for headgear though.

Alas, it would difficult.
After the first Civil War set The Twins are probably keen to stick to one type of soldier and kit per box.

My fault I guess I didn't say it very well, but what I meant was a Frock Coat and Hardee Hat box in addition to the already released ones in Sack Coats.
