Great selection, and the home service helmet option is going to make a lot of people very happy.

Well, what do you know, and we just happen to be doing Anglo Zulu War at the store club next year  :D  I wonder if plastic Zulus will follow?

Nice! I can find a use for them.  :)

By gum, but they look good  :-*

So much period character. Look like they've stepped straight from a sepia photograph...

Surely Perry plastic Zulus can only be a matter of time...
(Going to have to slap a lot of poly cement on all those bare African shoulders through, to conceal the joints... )

Plastic Home Service helmets will be nice ... metal models seem to have to make the spike far too large in order for it to survive casting.
Back from the dead, almost.

YES! YES! YES! :-*

I knew they were in the queue, but I dared not dream they would look this good!  o_o

I think I feel my megalomania kicking in. I MUST HAVE THESE!

These lovelies will more or less complete my son's Zulu War field force! He already has two units of Zulu's courtesy of Black Tree Design and Warlord Games but i'm sure a box or two of Perry's finest wouldn't go amiss too?

seem very useful minis..including spare parts like, for ex. spiked helmet heads that could placed on Perry Plastic ACW cavalry and with some minor milliput additions tarnsformed in Natal Mounted Police or other similar volunteer units..
The Eliograph is a real must...useful for every Colonial front or nation ...and if you want a double way comunucation for your wargame table a couple of them could be available at cheapest price than the few metal sets available..what puzzled me is the guy with AZW type red coat and legs with puttees..a strange combination nor really seen in AZW..but in any case a useful set.

The "AZW type red coat and legs with puttees" is explained on the Perry Facebook post.  The AZW 3-ups were already at Renedra when they took the photograph so they substituted a British in Sudan body and legs.

Use the braided patrol jacket body with martini arms and a black and khaki colour scheme and you've got an NNC officer sorted.

Perry first class stuff every time, just having a dip into their Sudan British Infantry. Look's like we can mix and match box set's.

They look good. If they had come out with these about a year ago I would have not bought all the Black Tree figures that I have as they are noticeably larger than Empress, Foundry and Warlord AZW figures. I suspect that the Perry figures would look much better.
