Tentacle creature W.I.P
« on: 20 October 2012, 05:52:49 PM »
Hi everyone  :)

I have started on a Tentacle creature. Similar to creatures from the film mist.

Its about 55mm tall

What do you think so far?

Thanks
George

I'm definitely not into monsters and worms, but.... that is something indeed!

Thanks everyone  :)

My good friend lee has just wrote a bit of text to go with this piece  :)

"...one of the great beasts tentacles fell to the deck, slithering to and fro as the last embers of life appeared to die within its unearthly folds. As the men approached it, to throw it back into the hellish sea it had emerged from, the thing slowly began to pull itself upright until it resembled something akin to a cobra. I stood aghast, unable to comprehend what was happening before my very eyes, waiting for it to strike. However, it simply stood silent, watching and waiting for its masters next command."

- Lieutenant Commander Tathwell Benjamin of the HMS Nightingale

A great sculpt, I wonder how it operates? Has it any way to feed and such? The tentacle from the movie was probably just an appendage of some larger creature.

Ed Fortae, also known as Hive Trygon on some forums, also known as the TrollForged guy, is running a Kickstarter for some alien demonic worms (link: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/131182444/assimilation-alien-host).
Perhaps you should contact him and see whether he's interested in this sculpt of yours.

Ok, that scares me. Which makes it a great model in my book!
