Quite fancy a go at this, I usually miss the build somethings, or fail to finish!!

Going for simple to practice techniques, never done water and I fancy something like this for my scenery collection.

Time to get started then!
And work a out a water effect!!!
Saving the last bullet... just in case.

See my wonderful BLOG of stuff!

6) All construction & painting should take place during the contest, no previously built/started items please.  The idea of the contest is to give you an incentive to build something you have just not got around to doing previously.

I tink I may know the answer, but to check. I made a test tree a long while ago and I was hoping to integrate it in to this project. Is that allowed?

Here is the tree I wish to use. It was a scratch built test and from it I built 3 more. It is a complete piece, as in finished but has never had a purpose until I started this project.

If you keep within the below rule, I will allow it.
2) The idea is for scratch-building to form the major part of an entry.  If kits, pre-made resin/metal/plastic/etc parts are used they should ideally form only a minor contribution.

Thats handy!
I may be able to enter, if that is the case.
I have something that I want to do and may just have time...

This is probably a stupid question, but the pictures we post, it mention no pics of completed items, is that just completed build or completed build+painted?

The rule means to say that we save the completed and fully painted build till the voting. So save your 'money shot' for the mandatory competition entry photograph.

Not a very nice nor helpful comment. I have great expectations on other entries to.

A joke on my own behalf as well :)
Of course there'll be great entries and this boards creativity will surpass all expectations :)

To restore peace and harmony to the Kingdom of Sweden, its time to bring out that faithful standby, a gift bound to unite all Swedes. Swedish supergroup Trunk and their version of the White Stripes'  Seven Nation Army.

Enjoy. :)

Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

I thought so. I was trawling through a collection of White Stripes covers and beyond  the wonderful Alice Russell and a really great little funk version by a French guy called Ben l'Oncle Soul (who looks disturbingly like the guy in the IT Crowd)  and came across that gem. Further demonstration, if any where necessary beyond our Swedish LAF contingent, that Swedes are quite cool and have a rather dry and amusing sense of humour.
