I'm really looking forward to the rest of this line - they look like they'd suit beautifully with the Fenris unarmed survivors.

For objective markers: the sports-bag full of guns

For additional armed civilians:
Mother, one hand hugging her child to her side, the other packing a pistol
A person whose "survival baggage" in the off-hand is their cat-carrier
Heavily tooled-up survivalist wearing a papoose-pack with a baby onboard

from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."

How about a shopping cart full of stuff, and a kids wagon loaded up?

Looking at those greens again they look a little well fed (maybe it is just the clothes) but some skinnier survivors that look gaunt and starved would be nice.

Any plans for pump action shotguns? you don't see many side by sides around here unless you are at a Cowboy shooting event  ;)

Also love the idea of dogs, both feral and best friend, the kids are a great idea, good for added rules for keeping them alive.

Objective markers: bed rolls, sleeping bags, tents / food, ammo crates / water jugs
Zombies you can outrun - the mistakes of your fellow Heroes you cannot.

Shotguns and 22. rifles, most popular privet owned long arms in the USA. But I guess any old bolt action rifle will do to represent any thing from a 22. on up.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Whilst I'm a big fan of pump action shotguns - its nice to see some (lovely!) figure which don't have them, and are therefore versatile enough to be used in the rest of the world where gun controls are a wee bit stricter (As far as I can recall, you can own a PA/SA shotgun in the UK, but it has to have a magazine cap of 3 - or was it 4 - rounds)

Suggestion: some folks wearing civilian-style "tall-top" hiking backpacks.

A person whose "survival baggage" in the off-hand is their cat-carrier

Yes! With a cat in it, like one of these...

 :D :D

Seriously though... this looks like a very nice range of ordinary survivors, not the gung-ho type.
I like that they are kitted with army bags and backpacks. This makes them look like survivors on the run.

If you're considering going for a UK based scenario, you might find these figures for private gun ownership interesting;

Gun Ownership

Obviously this doesn't include the weapons used by Police Forces and the Armed Forces, nor illegally possessed firearms... but certainly it means they are a rare and valuable find out there in t'wastelands. Essentially it averages out at 3 in a 100 people have a shotgun (single or twin break barrels mostly) and 1 in a 100 have some other firearm.

As all but single shot handguns and semi-automatic rifles over .22 are illegal, the bulk of remaining firearms are likely to be military and civilian type bolt-action rifles, and shotguns with a magazine capacity of over two rounds.

Illegal firearms are commonly modern handguns or sawn-offs, but there are also a surprisingly significant number of WW2-era weapons (revolvers). The most common automatic weapons (which compared to pistols and shotguns are still relatively rare) are the MAC-10, Uzi and AK47, in that order of frequency, with the MP5, Sterling and Sten SMGs getting an honourable mention... anything else is considered an 'exotic' item.

There is apparently quite a long 'shelf-life' for illegal firearms and many are re-activated de-activated weapons, or converted replicas, often as dangerous to the firer as they are to the target.

So a very British post-apocalypse (VBPA?) setting would have quite a unique look, all things considered...  :)

that is a significant difference compared to what you have in the US. Here we have an average of 3 "registered" firearms per a person.
