Ha! research is the best excuse to buy all kinds of miniatures, no?  lol

Anyway, from the picture it seems they work fine enough against my copplestone soviets. wouldn't mix them in a unit (I'm extremely picky about that) but as opponents it would probably work out well.

Thanks for the enthusiasm  ;)

The first 4 greens are done and on their way to me; the next 12 have been designed, specced, commissioned and started.............

...... but there's still an opportunity for you guys to maybe influence the content of the game/conversion accessories that will follow after.  For example:

Double barrel shotguns: with hands attached or without?

Dogs: chasing, snarling and biting or man's best friend?

Objective markers: first aid kit, crate of whisky, pallet of tinned goods, jerry can of petrol, etc?

Other things that spring to mind are casualties and maybe a few children survivors for the adults to protect?

I love the idea of nice objective markers that could also be used as scenery bits... maybe a shopping cart full of food?

Also some nice casualties and children survivors would be greatly appreciated!

Also what about some people with ancients weapons, swords, maces, polearms?  The re-enactment community is large in the UK and there are many museums to get older style weapons from...  I would think one of the easiest weapons to make would be a spear?

Can't wait to see the full range! :-*

That could be funky, and a figure with an improvised spear would look really good. My suggestion would be to do some of the more archaic weapons as conversion possabilites rather than as pre-set options, simply as I could imagine them not nessecarily being very popular. If there are going to be special characters/hired guns/etc in the game, an ex-reenactor could be quite a funky (and different) idea for one*.  Something to consider about most reeanctors is although they have lots of weapons, only a fraction of them will be proper sharp versions. Most will be 'battle safe' blunt pieces - which are often designed so as not to take an edge to prevent accidental injuries. That said, most would still make very effective clubs, and be more than capable of breaking bone etc - especially when compared with improvised melee weapons...

*As a (dark ages) reenactor I have often toyed with wether I'd bother taking any of my (non-weaponry) reenactment kit with me in a post End survival situation. I'd definitely take the arms guards and the smaller of my 2 shields, and I've often toyed with the idea of my chainmail. It weighs alot (45-50lbs!) and would certainly slow a user down - even one that's used to wearing it for reenactment battles, as they are comparatively short affairs rather than wearing it near constantly - but on the other and, would offer a lot of added protection, especially given the comparative scarcity of fire-arms. My helmet I'd ditch, but try to pick up something lighter at a later date.  Chainmail, a bicycle helmet, short sword and shield + combats, hiking boots and a rucksack could make for a nifty figure. I might even have to try converting one!

These are very nice, indeed.
I can see a lot of people finding various uses for the lasses.

And if you insist on the 'Essex Girl' look, you can always paint a few D+G patterns on their bags, and those boots could easily pass as Ugg boots... ;)

Thats enough info about Southend on Sea and the Silent Invader household. ;)

The ladies are looking excellent, my favourite is the one wearing the parker jacket with the hunting rifle. The hammer looks good as well. The range is coming together nicely :)
