I notice he is packing some serious heat!  Lol. I would think it wise to keep warm in winter afterall. ;)

Cheers

Nice addition of an AR-15 (or similar), TBC  8).  If you'd like your finished figures to go in the website customer gallery, just PM me and let me know.  :D

Furnishing additions noted, thanks.... I have pushed the mattress to the head of the queue as it could have some interesting uses..... cushioning a jump from an upper floor, that sort of thing!
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

And you can hide behind it, good for stopping bullets.

Just thought I'd say I really like the stuff you have done. Your products ae going to be my next project.

As a lot of the game seems to take place outside maybe some street furniture would be useful. For indoors a military style cot/bed and a sofa to match the easy chair. I know that 55 gallon drums and jerry cans are out there already but may be worth doing but a large calor gas tank or a small hand held petrol tank. Perhaps even a mobile generator.

I was thinking a wheelbarrow would be useful as would a hand cart and hand tools such as sledgehammer, shovel. An ice pick seemed to me to be an obvious choice although may be over the top. Perhaps you could do a sprue of home made weapons. I remember there being some in the older fallout game called zip gun and pipe rifle. Something not quite black powder but not far off. Maybe something that looks like an iron pipe or a home made sword as melee weapons.

Having watched “The Colony” I was thinking that perhaps some like the enemy in that. Like the regular figures but a bit more feral. Clearly crazy and armed with melee weapons. This could maybe be achieved with the zombie figures but with hand weapons rather than being unarmed. I know someone does figures that look like raiders in firefly but without the cold weather gear.

If the humans have guard dogs maybe some domestic pit-bull or rottweiler types could be of use. You have rules for packs of domestic dogs which are a little harder to come by that wolves. If it is cold enough for the seas to freeze the polar bears will be coming south looking for food.

Thanks for the comments guys (even Steve's  ;)  :D )

I'm making the mattress separate to the bed frame so it'll be very useable  :)

Lots of interesting ideas in there ISWIL, thanks very much, and I will look at working them into future plans.  Btw, there is a character with an ice axe to come (originally proposed by elk101  ;) )

I've already mentioned it elsewhere but at some point later today the webstore will be going offline for a major database and software upgrade.  When complete it shouldn't look any different to customers though I will have chewed my finger nails to the bone and pulled out all my hair ...... :o ......  :D

Here is my first pack of survivors, front and back.  It's rather hard to see, but I did model a strap for the rifle.  Bummer, since I think it came out great...

Thanks Guys!  It's a fun side project to play with :)  I also found decent Joel/Ellie proxies for the game as well.  They're almost finished!

Quick question for Steve, what was your technique for the dirt and mud you added?   Always looking for interesting mud/dirt techniques and I really like how yours look!

Cheers!

Hi TBC

The mud on the knees and elbows?  That's just a dash and/or a dry brush of Vallejo browns.  I suppose the only 'technique' is to not over do it....   ???  :)
