Noted, Steve, noted  :D

A difficult mini to photo in the raw (shiney metal and the forward reach of the saw make focussing difficult) but a couple of shots of the first finished conversion..... Man side swiping with chainsaw.

Also coming are the running man with axe and bow, a youth leaping as he swings his double handed sword, and a youth with a flamethrower.  These are all my conversions from the multipart zombies (infected ragers) and will be cast up to go into the store as singles and a pack of four.  More pics on the other 3 very soon.

Also in hand and very close is a zombie shambler (another conversion).  Btw the sculptor (wiff waff) also has the spec etc for the set of multipart zombie shufflers so they'll be coming reasonably soon.

Regarding the Enok vehicle, hopefully I'll have an update on this tomorrow as the body has been vac-formed and I'm close to finishing the masters of the various metal accessories (wheels, bumpers, grilles, headlamps and top-mounted LMG). If it all comes together ok, I'm hoping that it'll go into the store for less than £5.

Also tomorrow I hope to have an update on the ICE troopers.  These were moulded yesterday and first casts spun this evening ..... I just need daylight to check that they've come out ok before spinning stock for the store.

More on rules updates soon!

That chainsaw conversion is really nice! This project really has legs, seems to be getting bigger and better very quickly! As always, eagerly awaiting more

I must say, thematically and in delivery, it's one of my favorite games out there and one of the three projects I intend on finishing before adding anything new.  Steve's work is such an inspiration, the minis are great and at a VERY reasonable price, it's hard not to want to start this game.

I'll be relocating to Moscow by the end of next year, and I think this will be a BIG hit in Russia.

Say, did you guys see my 'not- Joel and Ellie' for SSS using the LA minis?

Ok,  I'm just going to ask because it seems to obvious that there must be a reason you avoided them, but do you have plans for some sort of ski-shoe/cross country skiers?
There was a KS for the Finnish/Soviet Winter War, part of the KS has ski troops as a choice.  I picked them up because I thought they'd be a gag for the game.  Maybe I can house-rule them in somehow...
Hands down this is one of my absolute favorite projects in gaming!

Hi Erik

Moscow next eh?  You sure get around! And thanks for the support  :D

Regarding skis and snowshoes, yes and yes!  :D

I avoided them for the core rules - perhaps wrongly - as they seemed impractical and therefore to some extent unnecessary for what was primarily an urban game.

The game is still primarily urban but the introduction of more organised forces offers the potential for the terrain to open up.  Especially if there are enclaves etc to be attacked.  The ICE troopers are coming (a couple of casting issues to resolve) and I envisage them as being vehicle mounted, which will bring in vehicle movement rules.  I also have another class of trooper sketched out (not revealing too much at the mo) who can be played either as an ally or an enemy of the ICE etc.  These guys will be ski, snow shoe, etc, equipped: the shortage of fuel will remain a major theme.

I also plan some ski and snow shoe equipped civilian (and perhaps ICE) for later.

So these rules additions are coming, though I am aware that I am a bit behind on the next update (which will include scenarios).

Ps: you should add a link to your Joel and Ellie post  ;)

Bit of an update ....

The ICE troopers went into the mould as 8 minis and came out as 80 parts.  Unfortunately the resulting mould isn't 100% as the bottoms of the mp5 banana mags aren't casting.  So more moulding shenanigans lie ahead though I await a delivery of more rubber which is due today or Monday.

The following all went up on Facebook earlier today.

I stress that they are wip and so are just to give an idea of some of what's being worked on for the store.

Also photos might not look so good on a big screen - am using a new iphone app so not sure how they'll appear on a desktop.

A wip shambler ... Holding in guts

The previously seen running man with axe and bow ... The lower left arm will be cast separately and the bow especially needs much tidying

Youth athletically swinging sword to his right

Youth with homemade flamethrower .... Nozzle and igniter need much tidying.  Btw, the lance body is from a STEN and the top of the fuel cylinder is an airborne helmet, bits I made for my WW2 project!  A piece of copper wire will provided the hose from tank to lance.

For completeness, side-swiping chainsaw man

I'm hoping to get a couple of games in over Christmas, including a test of the zombie rules , which is a hint that they are also progressing :D

Thanks  ;)

Social media is sooooo time-consuming  :D

Actually, Facebook and LAF get the most updates because - as well as their participative audiences - they are both so easy to post to with images ... Other sites require photo hosting software so they normally have to wait until after images are on my own websites, for me to link from.
