I had Daniel Day Lewis (Last of the Mohicans) and Mel Gibson (The Patriot) in mind, but with bow rather than musket  ;)

A possible new direction on vehicles for the troopers.

Image from Wikapeadia

It was only after reading a thread in the Pulp board that I discovered that the Matchbox version of the Snow Trac comes out at about 1:60, depending which dimension you measure.

Interesting methinks, as with some fixes they might serve as small, 4 man off roaders.

So, I've bought a few on eBay (about £4 inclu shipping) to see what I can do with them.  I've bought play worn examples with missing tracks as I will repaint and I am also thinking of replacing the wheels and tracks with something less toy like.

Bit of an update for those interested in such things  ;)

..... with mould making now resolved the ICE troopers (and some other restocks) have been cast. Yay! They do need de-spruing, bagging and adding to the website but release is very close.

There's about 6kg of metal in this lot.  :D

I am negotiating wifely permission to spend more time on this tomorrow .....

@Matt
That's a possible.  Do you have an image of the pose etc you have in mind? I'd like to add a couple more to the pack.... Rottweiler and terrier spring to mind but a cattle dog strikes me as a robust pa survivor as well!

@Paul
Haha.  What's the typical ratio of Zeds to survivors in a typical game .... 10:1?  That'll be about 3000 Zeds for the horde then!  I think I'd need a bigger tabletop  lol

Btw I've also been growing the fleet of diecast vehicles ready for a table expansion next year and also working on a conversion kit for the Matchbox Snow Trac (casts for replacement track units, an add on for the rear end and an add on for the roof, which will make it 1/56.... The diecast is a hotchpotch of scales but the width is already 1/56th!).  I'm aiming for all the vehicles to be 1/56th but have gone as wide as 1/54 to 1/58 where it still works. I have been pleasnantly surprised by the range of vehicles that are available.

Well, for the zeds you could have special rules with less of em like a die roll for headshots etc..
