I know, it feels like ages!  I've been on the road for work quite a bit and haven't finished the last three figs on my desk.  We (Drew & I) have spent every free minute on building the new fantasy board for our Brink of Battle Epic Heroes supplement in time for ConQuest Sacramento April 5-7th.  Crazy busy, but I'm certain you will like the results.

Hello everyone, back again with another Metal Magic dwarf, did I mention that I love these little guys? Look at his expression, the wise look in his eyes. I decided to try painting purple (first attempt) and found it a fun colour to paint. Not much more to say about him except Metal Magic minis (especially dwarves) are a blast to paint; go get some!

That is it, let me know what you guys think, C&C always appreciated,

 Damien

Forgot to mention that I attempted a blueish/white beard (blue shade, white highlight), it did not turn out that well, my girlfriend hates it but I am too lazy to go back and fix it.

Bed e work. The white beard and the white cloth are really well done. Different looking whites are good.

The Knight of Lesser Stature is one of the NICEST pieces you've done thus far. The off white & purple tunic looks TERRIFIC...sets off his face well. GREAT WORK!

Thanks for the comments beefcake, always appreciated.

Thanks einarolafson! Your creeps are fantastic! I already posted this on your thread but the eyes and the tongues are out of this world (people go and see this thread: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=50895.0 if you already have not done so).

Hello DeafNala, I really enjoyed painting the purple, because of that, I painted more highlights than I usually do and I think the result was pretty good.

Cheers all, you all have fantastic threads making your comments doubly appreciated,

Damien

The dwarf turned out great. Metal magic did some great mins, and yours makes me want to go collect them. Must resist. ..

I find him really nice too! :) White can be messy when different tones are put altogether, but you have solved it perfectly. Great work!

Looks great Damien!  I love dwarves that actually look like they can walk.

Very nice looking, Damien! The beard works, but looks a bit chunky and thick. Almost like foam. =)

Hello Suber, I am finding I really like painting beige/white if done right it comes out looking creamy; kind of fun.

Hey Faust, I am glad you like the paint job and mini, I too like dwarves that look 'normal' (I am also glad you liked my review of Brink of Battle).

@ phreedh, the beard didn't really turn out the way I wanted and you are right it does look a little like foam/shaving gel  lol

Cheers for all the comments guys,

 Damien

I didn't have much time to paint this week so I looked for something quick and easy in my lead pile (funny, it never seems to get any smaller). I decided to paint up some Citadel skeleton crew from the old skull chucker catapult. They are small and humble but are sculpted well and a lot of fun to paint.

Here they are, let me know what you think:

Comments and critiques always welcome,

 Damien
