Hey, Plynkes?

On the battle report links (you've been slacking on that front, chum) should there not be a link to each and everyone of the battles on Major General Tremorden Reddering's lovely site (resurrection has purpose)?

I wonder if there is a Internet Museum site hosting old websites? MGTR would certainly qualify.

The battle reports list was meant to be an easy way to find members' battle reports here on the LAF. It was extended to members' reports off-LAF because a lot of people were posting their stuff elsewhere and it seemed reasonable to include those. I don't know if we need to further extend it to any colonial battle report posted anywhere on the internet by anyone. As far as I'm aware, General Tremorden Rederring is not a LAF member.

If folks do want links to any and all random colonial stuff on the net that is unconnected with LAF then I guess we could do it, but that isn't what the links page was intended for. What do folks think?

And yes, I admit that I have been a bit slack posting up members' reports, but it is clearly stated that if you want your report on the links page and I have missed it you only have to PM me and it will be put up. So far nobody has PMed me about this, so keeping it updated hasn't been a priority.

A link to some of the best random colonial stuff on the net would be welcome.

Wasn't intending to throw the door wide open!  Just thought the General's page was special in ways few, if any, others are.  How many of us can point to it for some special inspiration?  I certainly know I can.  And, Plynkes, you do do a great job.   o_o

The best you can get for the Majors old site is to go paruse through the wayback machine archive
http://web.archive.org/web/20090305004756/http://zeitcom.com/majgen/index.html most links still work.

The original owner has said he will bring it back but has not happened yet.

Quite. Perhap it could be the exceptional which proves the rule?

I tried to bring up the "Battles" page and got nothing. So I think for now the point is moot, unless you can provide working links.

There is a slider on top of the page by which one can go back to older versions. :)
