The ogre is a great work, but the zombies are a piece of beauty  :o :o!
I'll follow this tread even for an upgrade every ten years.

Hi Mason! A real pleasure to see you again here after two years!  :) I have to find the time to lurk in the 12389756 pages of Krappefortt you did in the last period  :P

Excellent painting  :-*. I must have missed this thread first time round. Thanks for the update to bring it to my attention.

Thanks a lot and welcome onboard Gutbukkit!

Thanks Jack. :) I'm fine, just a bit overwhelmed by real life business...
What about you?

Excellent brush and conversion work :-*

Good to see this continuing  8)

James

Many thanks James  :)

Stunning

Thanks Adam! How are you? Are you playing Mordheim with those beautiful skaven you made me paint a couple of years ago? I'd really like to see a pic of them in action eventually!  :P

The ogre is a great work, but the zombies are a piece of beauty  :o :o!

Wow, Randycarter, I'm really touched by what you said  :) Happy too see you like the zombies. I'll provide a groupshot as soon as I can  ;)

BTW, I'd like to share a couple of pic of what I'm painting with some early WIP. But first, I want to share a couple of pics of my workbench, because I've learned that a well organized workbench is very important for me. I have little time for the hobby and I don't want to waste it in a chaotic search for tools and stuff...

This is the desk during normal activities...

But thanks to this ikea simple storage system...

...it's easy to make the desk into a workbench in about two minutes:

I'm very happy with this. Nothing special but really important not to lose the mojo :)

Finally, some WIPS:

Here is the last hero, the Engineer. I love this mini...I swapped the enormous warhammer in the right arm with a duel pistol and removed the banner. I know, maybe a bit over-the-top with his steampunk power fist but hey, I can't really say no to a dwarf with a steampunk power fist  :D

Here is the crossbowmen. I have just one painted and I need at least three :P

Some time ago I couldn't resist to evilbay and bought this Dwarf Mapper too... why not?

As you can see the oldhammer dwarf warband is almost finished.
The craziest thing is that I have bought enough stunties to make a little army...  lol

Finally, a little upgrade for undead too. Here is the first of my ghouls. I think this one is particularly horrorific, and it made me buy the set from Heresy. In the idea of the sculptor, she is a femal ghoul with his little newborn ghoul, I guess. To me it is a nightmarish creature who is actually eating a kidnapped child. Let's see what I can do with a proper gorish paintjob... :-X

That's all guys. Hope you like what's going on here.
Cheers!

Loevely idea with the workbench organisation! I have to find something similar as I have to use the same desk to study and to paint and often it becomes either a total mess because I don't want to put all the paints back in boxes (which costs so much precious time) or it's tidy and all and I don't feel like looking for my materials in 10 different boxes...So thanks for this, it's giving me the necessary energy to start reorganizing my desk aswell :P

Late again...the Ogre & his Living Impaired Associates are UBERCOOL, & BEAUTIFULLY painted creations...I love the color choices. The Zombies have started the wheels turning; i.e., I do have all those unassembled Empire & Zombie plastics...inspiration is always appreciated; thanks. VERY WELL DONE!

Your work station (neat or cluttered, whatever works best for you is the way to go) & W.I.P. pieces are impressive. You have some fantastic minis underway...somethings for moi to look forward to seeing soon...or later.

You are welcome! :) I personally find that ikea is very helpful with it. Nice wood kits for cheap cash.

 :-X :-XHere is a very disturbing ghoul. :-X :-X

I kinda like it, but have to say that it was not easy to paint the skin..a fascinating miniature but not an anatomical masterpiece  :?

I think the skin came out very well indeed (although the blue around the baby's neck is disturbing all on its own!). :)

I'm a little surprised by your comments on the model's anatomy though, as Paul Muller (the sculptor) is generally quite good even if he does tend to over-emphasise the musculature and ligaments a bit.

Still, with both yours and Mika's works to guide me, I hope I have an easier time of painting her!
