Hi DeafNala! Thanks for the kind words. How are you? Happy to see you again here  :)

It's nice being here. I'm old & crazy, same as always...to prove the later point I've been painting some L.A.M. & White Knight Lansknechts for fun.

Let me know what you think guys!
Cheers

The Ghoul Girl is the definitive horrendously gross piece...suitably so. Although I usually steer clear of the gore effects, your pieces look WONDERFULLY horrifying with all the blood; it is the perfect finishing touch to three OUTSTANDING miniatures. VERY WELL DONE!

The skin is actually very well done, I thought. The gradation downward in the child showing blood collecting downward in the body is especially smart. Your colour choices have maximized the horror of what was already quite a disturbing figure.

Wow truly horror like, you've really nailed it. it's easy to overdo the gore with undead (I'm always nervous about adding that first drop of red after all the work with layering and highlighting up to that point in case I spoil it) but you've got really pulled it off. Nice choice to go with the child victim rather than a child ghoul that's brilliant.thanks for sharing

I guess babies contain a lot of fat,  as this ghoul seems to have gotten really "well curved" buttocks  lol

On a serious note: you've painted it really great!! I think I'm gonna need one myself now I've seen it! Thanks for showing!

gooooore!

Me like it!

Is it using the child as a weapon too?

of course  ;)
The most horrorish weapon possible...

I think the skin came out very well indeed (although the blue around the baby's neck is disturbing all on its own!). :)

I'm a little surprised by your comments on the model's anatomy though, as Paul Muller (the sculptor) is generally quite good even if he does tend to over-emphasise the musculature and ligaments a bit.

Still, with both yours and Mika's works to guide me, I hope I have an easier time of painting her!

Thanks :)
About the sculpture..well, musculature is a bit messy an the carving is not as depp as it should IMO...
Nothing terrible, anyway. Still a great miniature.

I have to see what you have done with those uber cool minis ! I have to paint my LAM Lansknechts too.. I'll look yours for inspiration!  :D

Thanks, Fram! Actually I only used the MIG pigments to give the impression of dirty on the poor child lower body.. but you are right, after all I was lucky and the effect came out better than what I expected   :D

Thanks mate  :)

Thanks tyrion! But the credit goes to many tutorials here and there on the net... There is  lot of nice stuff about adding gore with tamya clear red in the net :)

Thanks Randy :)
I see you are based in Bologna...me too! Maybe we know each other in RL ... ;D

lol She is a curvy ghoul  8)

Thanks for the kind words guys, as always is a pleasure to share my hobby with you :)
BTW, this weekend I have the chance to reunite the warbands so I have a couple of pics to share.

Undead time:

First, a zombie reunion...

Here the entire gang at the moment (so much work to do  :o )

I still need to create the heroes...I only have a proxy vampire. I've painted it time ago and I kinda like it but I want to scratchbuilt a better one. This one is a bit "over the top" maybe...

Anyway, I've some nice WIP too.
Here some other heresy ghoul to go with the child eater lady:

and, a couple of gamezone zombie wolves:

On the stunties side, I want to share a couple of models I've painted time ago but never had the chance to photograph.

The first crossbowman of the warband:

And, the second and last slayer :)

And, the whole gang so far:

Let me know what you think guys!
cheers!

WOW...you have been impressively busy! Dwarfs, Ogre, & Deadites are all BEAUTIFULLY DONE! Your colors give them individuality while your distinctive style & bases unify them. GREAT WORK!

Some really eye popping paint work here! Those zombies are great. Can't wait to see how you paint up the gamezone wolves ( I have some on the painting table too ;) )

YES! :)
After a long period spent on other project, I finally came back on my Mordheim warbands. The dwarf gang is at a good point (only 1 hero and 2 crossbowmen left) even if I can't find my mojo about finishing the job... So, I decided to focus on the undead warband that is still far from the finish line. Today I want to share with you a little progress.
I finished the wolves!

I'm glad to introduce...

Bruto

...and Carogna

What do you think guys?

Here a pic of the gang at the moment:

As you can see, I only have troopers:

- 5 zombies (not bad to start but better to arrive at 10);
- 2 wolves (probably I need another one);
- 1 ghoul (I need at least 3);
- 1 ogre (definitely enough...);

Now, I'm starting to create the heroes... Hope to share something soon ;)

Loving the look you've created. Almost a three-dimensional representation of a graphic novel.
