Eh, jack....
The matter is the time....Too much work, too little time For the hobby. I have to choose and miniatures come first. But the board there, I hope, a day, I'll finish it... :)
Let'see if maybe this summer I'm able too go on with that....

Don't know why I haven't been keeping tabs on this thread... bloody great stuff Faber! Your mate did a splendid job on the 90s ogre for you, and you made some serious improvements on those plastic dwarfs of old. All very tasty! Hope to see more soon!

That ogre is something special, very nice conversion idea and great paintwork, too.

eh eh! Thanks phreedh! :)
When I see the conversion done I was stunned. It was better than what I expected and perfectly fitting my idea :D I hope you'll see some new dwarf soon...I'm now cleaning for primer the crossbowmen...

Thanks Alex :)
When I saw the original model, I thought it could be the dwarfish ogre I was looking for. I have a soft spot for ogre and, even if not a priority in Mordheim, I want a ogre for each warband I do :P (I'm starting a new warband and the first model I bought is an ogre.... )

Lovely Ogre, both conversion & paint job. Love the pipe.

Thanks pal! The pipe is the final touch: I tried the glowing pigments inside it but the result is not that effective in pic...

BTw, due to the "extravaganza" approach to Mordheim, I'm plannig more warbands. I have now a promising dwarf warband (more than half the job) and a start of an undead warband. Next warband to be started is a possessed one: it will be a crazy team of Tzeentch worshipers... :P Hope to improve my conversion skill on this one!
That said, I'm planning a skaven warband too...I have some bits, let'see what is possible to create :P
So, up to now, the plan includes:
- dwarf warband (oldschool pieces only)
- undead warband (a mix of new gw, gamezone and whatever in theme)
- possessed warband (probably a lot of conversion with only new gw bits)
- skaven warband (same as possessed)

BUT, if you have some good idea guys, is obviously welcome! Feel free to suggest a warband (and its special modelling theme!)! I'm always searching for new inspiration :)

WELCOME BACK!
While the numbers may not be overwhelming, the Lads Large & Small are STUNNING; i.e., BEAUTIFULLY painted &, in the case of the Ogre, FANTASTICALLY converted...except for his oh-so-expressive face the Big Guy is brought to such a higher level as to be nearly unrecognizable. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks Al, you are always too kind  :)
The face of that ogre is fantastic, one of my favourite ogre-face ever (this one should be a Perry's one...). After all, the model was pretty cool even without any conversion, apart for some clear anatomical error (the right arm is really shorter than the left one)..

That Ogre!  :-*

Nice work!

Cheers guys! I'm glad you like them :)
Hope to show you some new pic soon.

Thanks mate :)
That crazy tamiya clear red x27 is impressive! I'll never be enough grateful to MrDee who suggested it to me.

top work on the Dwarf Ogre   :-*

Thanks pal, happy you like it! :)

Anyway, I started a new minis....it seems I'm in a sort of ogreish period: this time it is a ratogre, the blood island one. Hope to work on it this weekend... It could be the start of my skaven warband...
I'm honestly thinking to start work again on my mordheim board... So sad to see it unfinished.... Damnd job.

Well, this topic has not been posted for...well...more than 2 years. I'm aware that this is a extreme necrothreading action... Anyway, this is actually an update of this very old (and keep running) project of mine. So, to the very kind admin, if you want, just tell me and I'll open a new thread.

I'm not posting in this forum by a couple of year -due to RL- and I miss it. Sometimes I've been here lurking your amazing work, guys. I've never quit the hobby, though, and I always find some little time to paint.
I finished some new mordheim minis and I feel this is the natural place to share my work. Hope you like it :)

First, here is the finished imperial ogre:

Here are a couple of new zombies. Now I have five :D

Creating those imperial zeds it's so funny that I bought another couple of kits and I'm planning some other...
I'd really like to take a groupshot but those latest two and the rest of them are in different cities at the moment :) I'll make a reunion as soon as possible...

On the other side, I'm keep going with the dwarf warband too... I've painted one more slayer and a first crossbowman and I'm actually painting two more crossbowmen and the last hero, the Engineer... Sadly, as for the old zeds, the finished stuff is in another city... I'll share it whenever I can...

That's all for the moment.
Hope you guys like this update, even if two years late  ;D

As always C&C welcome!
