First up a Happy New Year to all my friends here on LAF...

It has been a couple of weeks since I frequented the site in earnest and with Xmas now behind us I thought I would share the limited progress made on Pirate Island.

Things are starting to come together and a full round up plus lots of photos can be seen on the blog.

Really like the fort - those card bricks must have been murder though.

That is a great piece of terrain, nice to see it full glory after having followed its construction progress.

Can't wait to see how you tackle ther rest of the town.

No messing about by that man!

You have certainly got this well under way, Eric.
Nice work.

I've considered buying some Adobe structures - then building temporary (removable) Spanish tile roofs for use with them.  I have several sizes of Spanish tile plasticard already.

Just ordered a few large plastic windows from a railway model company - doors I can manage but putting windows on 10+ buildings will be too much hard work.

Nah, where's the fun in that? Do it the old fashioned way. I did and it has taken me about 5 years to build my adobe town and its still not finished. ;) lol
