Rackham's AT-43 any interest?
« on: October 25, 2006, 04:58:31 PM »
I just bought the pre-order of the new Rackham AT-43.  To be honest, I am not sure if its an ALT. WW2 game, or a dark sci fi, or what....

Anyhow, the set I bought is called Operation Damocles, comes with 19 pre painted minis....

The price was 25 percent off for pre-order, so around 60 bucks for me, which I though sounded reasonable.

I rarely game because I never seem to get enough minis painted, so maybe this will be my chance?

What do you all think?

actually the most interesting part for me is the large box container!  I kinda like the aliens too, and the robot.  The human infantry, not so much.  The barricade might be fun, but I'm not quite sure what those search light things are...

I'm certainly interested too, esp. the aliens and that big mech thing.

I'm on the other side of the mini dilemna, where I have plenty painted but no time or gamers to play with!

Sad to see I am not the only one :(

This certainly looks interesting... I may try some demo games. The problem is, what will I do with myself if I don't have to paint miniatures?

No, the best thing is that gaming mat...

The miniatures are totally uninteresting for me.

Oh, and miniature games using cards (forcing you to buy from a certain manufacturer) SUCK.

I´m rather disappointed, if I discount those neat human mechs... I had hoped for a true WW2 alternative game, like the stuff they previewed years ago, with absolutely hot Nazi mechs, but no, another generic Science Fiction game.

I just hope those mechs will be available separately and unpainted. And those Power Armour troopers look pleasingly SF3d-ish to me.

@supervike- You'd make a helluva crack dealer! Now, after telling myself to do Samurai for my new project, well... Now I want this! I'm gonna punch you in the eye, if only I could find your address in this mess!

Try this on, if you have any doubts abt these minis:

Hi,

you Guys should go and playor try  Rezolution.
Maybe you like it.

I dont like what I see with this AT game.
It seems to be just another SciFi Game. The minis are also not a new wheel or something.
The mat reminds me immediately of Hero Clix.

The scenery sure is interesting.

*grins*

I already bought the Rezolution Starter Deal at Spiel and painted some 75% of it - my CSO troops are almost done, and i finally found some minis in my lead mountains I can use for Peacekeepers (Capitol Assault Marines).

Its always a question of taste. The first CSO Troopers Range was pretty....well...rotten ?

The New Stuff is better. But I only know the new CSO Troopers. You can use other minis too. But the rules are worth a try !

Greetings
Björn
