WW1 Terrain build pics

Hi guys and Gals

Hope some of these pics help you with your terrain builds as you can see its all about technique and due process , so achievable by most im sure.I`m allways hapy to answer any questions you may have.

By the way all this started because of the 20 painted figs in the first picture that i won on e bay ,what then took over was the fun we had playing a modified version of Trench Broom skirmish rules,a free five page set,ask if you want a copy.

Great pictures! I really like the ruined church and nice to see how it came together. Did you use resin pieces available for all of us? . I think I recognise some Pegasus pieces but can't figure out the yellow pieces.

Ok Conflix do an ancient ruin in the picture there are two of these(the yellow pieces) but one is chopped in half
Yes the Pegasus pre painted walls are also there.
There is a Airfix (20mm) church there as wellive rubbled the front up to hide the size of the front entrance(i should have used the Hovels 28mm destroyed church for this).
The crypt floor is Wills patio stone plasticard.
The crypt walls started as embossed stone plasticard the A4 cheep version (cant remember the name)
The crypt walls  then were overlayed with a  sheet of Noch railway tunnel sidings chopped up(this is a dark grey embossed foam on a card backer)

This represents a French Abbey if you take a second look the overall shape is a cross ,Spike told me this is how they built abbeys.

That is simply jaw dropping. 

I love the little details that really make the separate pieces unique. It the ramdom detritus that says WW1 battlefield. The Abbey is simply amazing every time I look I can see something new.

It is also a good reminder that proper planning can have brilliant results.
