28mm Corn Fields
« on: January 24, 2013, 10:54:46 AM »
Hi Guys
Made a couple of corn fields using the redoubt metal corn and some junk.Have a look at the pics see what u think, this is the best possible idea i have come up with after seeing many corn fields on game tables but not quite wanting to go down there route.

Thinking the field itself (and the corn bases) might look a touch better with:

1)A flock to represent weeds and the general green ness of a corn field thats tramples.

2)Or go the chopped up bristles on a green base route and then drop the model corn on that.

Trouble is i go further make the wrong choice and its ruined, so leave as is or go route 2 is my feeling.

Opinions welcome

Cheers AL

Ok finished and happy, it seemed only right to display it with Texans .

Very nice.  It looks like you put a lot of hard work into that and it paid off!
