The brickwork on the tower is made with Heiki textured foam,it's about 2mm thick.
    This is my first scratch built building,ever,so I'm relatively happy with the result I think it ended up as my 'grand design' with an nod to various sources (Narnia as Thansants mentioned). Any way shouldn't waffle,now to build the rest of it...

It will eventually be part of another water board ( to go with the loch from the build something comp.),and two others,an small village and some forestry fields...Perhaps a fifth board in the plans as well

The craftsmanship is amazing, yet I'm really impressed by the multipurpose qualities of this piece. It's great for gaming while it remains a work of art in it's own right. That's not an easy balance to achieve. Bravo !!!
