Holeeeee poop.  :o

The ACW rarely interests me, but cripes that looks impressive!  I hope you have a suitable enemy player in mind.

Again like the Union troops these are magnificent.

The more I see of these teddy bear terrain mats the more I am hooked.

Briefly , what is your painting process? Base coat followed by highlights? Army painter? Washes? Please explain.

Great work

Cheers Fuzzy  :)
Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly
down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red
Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture,
torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals.

REBS
Hi for most of my painting i use a white  primer/base coat , then i use Humbrol matt enamels in varying mixes and shades to put the mid range colour on from there i throw in a darker wash coat for shading (this could be a wash or more likely Humbrol matt varnish mixed with a paint shade so a bit like army painter but in any shade i choose)then highlight , finally some fine line brush work just for definition oh and black lining straps and muskets.

Union
Very dark black/blue mixed undercoat then brush in the mid colour and brush in some highlights, trousers method as Rebs.

Cheers AL
Ps you would be suprised if you look closely at my figures they arnt perfectly blended and beautifully lined work at all.

I also want to note that a few of the more common Redoubt Enterprises moulds are tired so be prepared to do some cleaning or hiding in the awkward places,I dont mind this as i just clean and paint them in ,but the more refined artists amongst you will damn me if i dont bring that to you attention now ;-)

Cheers AL

I could use words as 'wonderful', 'amazing', 'astonishing'... But they all would remain short for what I want to express. :o
