Here are a few wall segments and corners that I put together for my Pulp and Back of Beyond games

I used Dave Phipp's idea of using metal brackets as bases. The walls are styrofoam with a few layers of dilute white glue and than spackle over them, primed and then painted. One final view with some in the background.

Very nice! Glad to help. Your table looks awesome! I know who to look-up for a Pulp Alley game the next time I'm in Guam.   ;D

I decided that I wanted to start the year off with some painting mojo.  So today I got three more mysterious obelisks painted. I'm pretty sure that these will be objects of cult veneration.

I also got a desk that I had scratch built for my pulp archaeological site painted.  You have to have a place to write up your artifact catalog, don't you know  :D

Now if I can only keep this going.

Please do, Lon, as this is a great start to the year.

So I am in the middle of work stress and of a 5 year program audit and I needed to destress with some painting.  Here is an Egyptian statue unearthed on a recent archaeological dig.
Actually it is from one of those Chinese made toy tubes full of Egyptian themed chachskis.  I have to say that I am pretty pleased with the paint job.  It really shows me how much I have learned from my thousands of hours on LAF looking at pictures by painters who really know what they are doing.

I bought them for my recent game as well - though I didn't do anywhere near as thorough paintjob on the Horus falcon as you have.

Captain Blood recently was good enough to sell me a great mud brick building for my Pulp and Back of Beyond tables (Thanks Richard!!!)  So in my most recent bought of ill health I managed to get it painted up. Here is a front shot

Here is a view from the side

A late afternoon scene

and a view of the building in the background of a walled garden

New Chinese Buildings For Pulp and Back of Beyond
« Reply #28 on: 14 September 2014, 06:17:22 AM »
Two new thatched buildings for the bad side of town  for  adventures in China and Central Asia (like there is a good one, right?)

I have another new tiled roof building but that will take much more time to prepare before I can begin to get some paint on it. Comments and critique always welcome, that's how I learned.
