does anyone have any pictures of Claymore figures along side some other ranges?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

The figures do look great, and I'll be adding some of these to my growing Scots Army.

Look forward to see the rest of the release.

Beautiful stuff David. Go to the top of the class Mr Hicks  8).

As for size, Claymore Castings are a great match for Perry Miniatures. I've got to take some pics this morning so I'll do a comparison shot  for you.

I'm not very well versed in the finer differences in medieval equipment, so can anyone please tell me, what makes these 'highlanders' as opposed to other medieval models? (And, yes, I know Braveheart had it completely wrong, but other than that)  :)

Basically, the 'Highlanders' (and Islemen) kitted themselves out in their own tradition of arms. That being, for the rich; a long and often long sleaved gambeson, chainmail as opposed to partial plate and a big hefty axe, similar to the famous dane axe of the Norse was often but not exclusively their weapon of choice. For the poorer classes, well, basically the Lowlands of Scotland were the richest parts so the average Highlander infantryman would be equiped in a similar manner to his Lowland friends but with less bling! Likely to have poorer equipment although this was not mutually exclusive.
