African 20mm Imagi-nations -new architecture in Kongaline

The government forces are about to take possession of a new AA tank. Based on a Poundworld chassis. Original tank on left, the stowage bin fouls the rear deck so it really cannot be used as is, but the running gear is okay.

The radar dish is actually a wok from a set of miniature pans sold by....Poundworld.

with a coat of paint to hide the wokky nature, but not finished

This are some of the existing forces

Really excellent use of Poundland vehicles.  One of my favourite suppliers for my own imagi-nation.

Did not see these tanks though - our local Poundland had trucks and hovercraft.

stunning stuff.

There is nothing more satisfying than finding a cheep toy, looking at it and thinking 'Humm...I could use that as a XXX'

And from one benevolent dictator of an African Imagi-Nation (all be it as 28mm one) to another, let me welcome you to Africa. You can find some of this bits and bobs I have made from toys on my Blog. It's tremendous fun.
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/

Nice. I like the infantry - Irregular Minatures?

Especially taken by the boss with his arms folded.

Top job.

Very nice! Reminds me that I have to finish off the control tower of Batasi Regional Airport... and those Savannah/Veldt trees...

Did you use plaster on the walls? Looks rather good and quite "in scale".

You have to love those rusty roofs... :o

the roofs are really an eye catcher.scratch-build or plastic sheet?
That's how it looks exactly after a few rainy sasons
but the rest of the buildings and the tanks too

now You need an opponent

(I thought to myself how did I miss this, as I am sure I commented on the original post.
Now I realise my error...many apologies for my lapse in concentration).
 :D

I have to say that those buildings look fantastic.
Great scratch building, and as for those roofs... :-*
